Henley has won the regional Britain in Bloom competition for the third year in a row, picking up another three awards at the same time.
The town won the top prizes in the Chiltern and Thames region and in the best community section, Valley Road School pupils also won an award in the schools category for their floral efforts.

Getting active in Henley is easy – whatever your age, fitness level or personal interests. The town has a fantastic selection of sports groups ranging from rugby, football, hockey and badminton, to rowing, dragon boat racing, walking and cricket.
Henley has an indoor sports centre located at Gillotts School, which has a swimming pool, gym, dance studio, large sports hall and a café all for public use. There is also an outdoor sports centre located opposite the Tesco store just off the Reading Road. There are also a number of gyms and health clubs in the town.
Alternatively, the surrounding countryside and the Thames Path provide a picturesque setting for a walk or bike ride.
Henley has some beautiful recreation areas, such as Mill Meadows (where there are two children’s activity playgrounds), Makins recreation ground and Freeman’s Meadow which help to provide an enjoyable form of exercise for families.
